Exam Regulations & Instructions

Please note that:

• You must know the exact dates that your subjects are to be written, as it is your responsibility to be present at the correct time.
• You need to be here at 7:45 promptly not to disrupt any examination session.
• A period of 10 minutes before the official commencement of the examination will be allowed for reading time over and above the reading of any other instructions that may be necessary.  You may NOT highlight or make notes during this time.
• You may not be in possession of a cellular phone / smart watch or any other electronic equipment for the duration of the examination.
•  You may not have a digital translator or any other electronic equipment switched on for the duration of the examination session.
• No explanation of examination questions may be asked or given.
• No borrowing of stationery is allowed. 

Disqualification

Any candidate who

1. Takes into the examination room, or has in his/her possession whilst in the room, any book, memorandum, or notes, or any electronic equipment, or any paper whatsoever, except his/her personal copy of the printed instructions to candidates, and such answer books or other papers as may have been supplied by the Invigilator; and/or
2. Aids or attempts to aid another candidate or communicate in any way with another candidate

IS LIABLE TO BE DISQUALIFIED AND HIS/HER RESULTS FOR THAT PAPER WILL BE DECLARED NULL AND VOID

Candidates that are disqualified under the above paragraph may be further dealt with as Sunward Christian Academy may determine.

Absence from the examination

As per the Code of Conduct of SCA, any candidate who is absent from an examination, must provide a valid doctors note for the specific day.  If the candidate fail to provide a doctors note, he/she will receive zero for that paper.

Leaving the examination room

With the exception of accompanied visits to the bathroom, you will not be allowed to leave the examination room until the prescribed time for the examination paper has elapsed.

Please note that no one is allowed to leave the venue 30 minutes before the session ends.
